I AM WOMAN
I took a summer hiatus on the blog and there’s nothing like a woman’s conference to catapult me back into action. And not just any conference, it was the I AM Woman Conference, curated my Sylvia High. Theme, Living Life Like It’s Golden: Bold, Unapologetic, Abundant. The conference was held in Atlanta at the beautiful downtown Hotel Marriott this past weekend.
When I tell you, I’m still flying HIGH (pun intended). I AM!
When I was asked to moderate two panel discussions, I was a Yasss! The universe was in perfect alignment, as I was seeking more opportunities to share my gifts and talents. Like Sylvia, I simply love woman. We are amazing, divine, and what we give is so rich and when we get together our power & love is magnified.
Sylvia is a dynamic woman and clear on her vision and what she wanted to create for this conference. It is NOT, nor will it ever be a place you go to just feel good. it IS where you go to get clear, spiritually fed, empowered, to get your tools sharpened, shine brighter, to be loved on, laugh, cry, dance, release, give and receive, and it's a call to action. It is also by far one of the top events I've ever attended. A room full of beautiful woman and an energy that was palpable.
I generally take lots of pics and videos because I like to capture the moments and I didn't, one, I was preparing to moderate (and needed to get in a head and heart space to serve), two, I was so enthralled that I just wanted to remain present. However, I was able to get a little something. There were no one moments that was better than another, it was all GREAT!
I did say it was a call to action, and here a few of mine:
Had a call with a publisher to discuss my book, and I've created the outline for it too.
Shared and got commitments from several friends and one sister so far to attend I AM WOMAN 2019. Registration is already available
During the conference my friend asked, when will you have your next speaking engagement. I don't know?" By the end of the conference I was able to tell her, October 26th.
Thank you to my Papa Curtis and Sylvia High for trusting in me to deliver. Thank you to my childhood friend Davida and colleague/friend Rebecca for joining me on what was a transformational weekend.
If you were at the conference, I'd love to hear:
What resonated with you?
What actions have you taken since Sunday?
How's your Fitness plan coming along?
Keisha "Kiki" Orr
In all matters give thanks.
